Yes. An Indonesian passport is not enough, you need a Schengen Type C visa to enter the Netherlands as a tourist. It allows a maximum stay of 90 days within any 180-day period across the whole Schengen area. Apply to the Netherlands only if it is your sole destination or where you will spend the most nights.

Standard processing runs 15 to 45 days; lodge your application no earlier than six months and never fewer than 15 days before departure. Summer months and school holidays cause surges at the Jakarta centre, so plan ahead. Do not pay for non-changeable tickets until the visa is stamped in your passport.

Many Indonesian travellers underestimate the main-destination rule: if you spend more nights in another Schengen country, that country must assess the file.
