How it works
1. Enter your nationality and destination
Entry rules depend first of all on the passport you show at the border. The form at the top of the page is all you need to get the page for your trip.
2. Read the verdict
Visa-free, visa on arrival, eVisa or embassy visa: the page shows the entry regime, then the fees, processing times and required documents when they are known.
3. Confirm before you book
For eVisas, the page links to the official government portal. Only the embassy or consulate of your destination is authoritative: check with them before you travel.
Frequently asked questions
- Where does the information come from?
- From official government websites (eVisa portals, fee schedules of foreign ministries and immigration services, Schengen rules) and, for short-stay regimes, the visa policies documented on Wikipedia for each destination. Entry regimes, fees, processing times and documents are extracted from these sources. When one of them is wrong or lags behind a change, the correction is made by hand and cites its official source.
- Is the data up to date?
- Short-stay regimes are re-read every Sunday, and official fees were collected one by one in October 2026. Data taken from an official source is marked “Verified”; data that relies on Wikipedia alone is marked “To confirm”. A collection that fails the automated checks does not replace the live data.
- What is the difference between an eVisa and a visa on arrival?
- An eVisa is requested online before you leave, on the destination country’s portal. A visa on arrival is issued at the border checkpoint. In both cases, the conditions (passport validity, supporting documents, fees) vary by country.
- Is it free to use?
- Yes. Some links to travel services are affiliate links: this does not change the price for you and helps keep the service free.
