Yes. The Jamaican passport is not exempt from the Schengen visa, so a short-stay Type C visa is mandatory for any tourist stay in Italy. It allows up to 90 days within 180. Italy must be your main destination (where you spend the most time) or your first point of entry into the Schengen Area; otherwise the application belongs to a different Schengen state.

Jamaican applicants file their case with the Italian consular mission responsible for Jamaica or its authorised external provider (for example VFS Global, BLS or TLScontact).
